FAMILY COURT OF AUSTRALIA (ADDITIONAL JURISDICTION AND EXERCISE OF POWERS) ACT 1988 No. 8 of 1988 - SECT 14

14. Section 24 of the Principal Act is amended:
(a) by omitting "the next Senior Judge" and substituting "the Deputy Chief
Judge or, if the Deputy Chief Judge is unavailable, the senior Judge
Administrator"; and

   (b)  by adding at the end the following subsection:

"(2) A Judge who is, under subsection (1), performing the duties and
exercising the powers of the Chief Judge shall be called the Acting Chief
Justice of the Court.".
