FISHING INDUSTRY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 1987 No. 174 of 1987 - SECT 53

Disclosure of interests
53. (1) Where:

   (a)  a member of the Selection Committee who has a direct or indirect
        pecuniary interest in a matter being considered, or about to be
        considered, by the Selection Committee (whether at a meeting or
        otherwise); and

   (b)  the interest could conflict with the proper performance of the
        member's duties in relation to the consideration of the matter; the
        member shall, as soon as practicable after the relevant facts have
        come to the member's knowledge, disclose the nature of the interest at
        a meeting of the Selection Committee.

(2) A disclosure under subsection (1) shall be recorded in the minutes of the
Selection Committee.
