FAMILY LAW AMENDMENT ACT 1987 No. 181 of 1987 - SECT 12

12. Section 16A of the Principal Act is amended:
(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "children of marriages" and substituting

"their children"; and

   (b)  by adding at the end the following subsection:

"(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to:

   (a)  a court exercising jurisdiction under Part VII; or

   (b)  proceedings under Part VII.".
