FAMILY LAW AMENDMENT ACT 1991 No. 37 of 1991 - SECT 6

6. After section 60A of the Principal Act the following section is inserted:
Family Court may permit adoption by prescribed adopting parent

"60AA. The Family Court, the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory or the
Family Court of a State may grant leave for proceedings to be commenced for
the adoption of a child by a prescribed adopting parent.".
