FEDERAL MAGISTRATES ACT 1999 - SECT 96
Functions of the Chief Executive Officer
- (1)
- In the management of its administrative affairs, the Federal Magistrates
Court is assisted by the Chief Executive Officer.
- (2)
- The Chief Executive Officer has the power to do all things necessary or
convenient to be done for the purpose of assisting the Federal Magistrates
Court under subsection (1).
- (3)
- In particular, the Chief Executive Officer may act on behalf of the
Federal Magistrates Court in relation to the administrative affairs of the
Federal Magistrates Court.
- (4)
- The Federal Magistrates Court may give the Chief Executive Officer
directions relating to the exercise of his or her powers under this Act.
