FEDERAL MAGISTRATES ACT 1999 - SECT 96

Functions of the Chief Executive Officer
(1)
In the management of its administrative affairs, the Federal Magistrates Court is assisted by the Chief Executive Officer.

(2)
The Chief Executive Officer has the power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for the purpose of assisting the Federal Magistrates Court under subsection (1).

(3)
In particular, the Chief Executive Officer may act on behalf of the Federal Magistrates Court in relation to the administrative affairs of the Federal Magistrates Court.

(4)
The Federal Magistrates Court may give the Chief Executive Officer directions relating to the exercise of his or her powers under this Act.
