Health Acts Amendment Act 1981 No. 118 of 1981 - SECT 25

25. Section 88 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from sub-section
(2) ''the Minister shall appoint a medical practitioner to that office and,
before making that appointment, shall consult the Australian Medical
Association'' and substituting ''the Minister shall not appoint a person to
that office for a period of more than 3 months except after consultation with
the Australian Medical Association''.
