Health Acts Amendment Act 1981 No. 118 of 1981 - SECT 37

37. Section 129 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after sub-section
(2) the following sub-section:

''(2A) A person shall not make a statement, either orally or in writing, or
issue or present a document, that is false or misleading in a material
particular and is capable of being used in, in connection with or in support
of-

   (a)  an application under section 5 or 5B;

   (b)  a statement or report under section 130A; or

   (c)  a notification under section 130B.

Penalty: $500 or imprisonment for 6 months.''.

(2) The amendment made by this section does not affect any proceedings pending
under section 129 of the Principal Act immediately before the commencement of
this section.
