Health Acts Amendment Act 1981 No. 118 of 1981 - SECT 54

54. Section 20 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) ''this section'' and substituting
''sub-sections (2) and (3)''; and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:

''(4) A payment under this Part shall not be made if-

   (a)  the application for the approval of the approved patient was made
        under sub-section (1A) or (1C) of section 13; and

   (b)  the rendering of the relevant professional service to the approved
        patient occurred, or commenced, before 1 January 1981.''.
