Health Acts Amendment Act 1981 No. 118 of 1981 - SECT 84

84. Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting sub-section (2) and substituting the following
        sub-sections:

''(2) A person shall not fail to comply with a notice served on him under this
section.

Penalty: $200.

''(2A) A person shall not, in purported compliance with a notice served on him
under this section, knowingly furnish information that is false or misleading
in a material particular.

Penalty: $2,000.'';

   (b)  by omitting from sub-section (3) ''this Act'' and substituting
        ''sub-section (2A)''; and

   (c)  by omitting sub-section (4).
