HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1993 No. 76 of 1993 - SECT 13

13. Section 23DP of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting from subsection (1) "$1,000" and substituting "10 penalty
        units";

   (b)  by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection:

"(1A) An approved pathology authority who, without reasonable excuse,
contravenes subsection 23DK(1A), (2A) or (3) is guilty of an offence
punishable, upon conviction, by a fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.";

   (c)  by omitting from subsection (2) and from the penalty at the foot of
        subsection (3) "$1,000" and substituting "10 penalty units".
