HEALTH INSURANCE AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1978 No. 133 of 1978 - SECT 6

6. (1) Section 6 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) ''apply to the Commission'' and
substituting ''lodge with the Department an application''; and

   (b)  by omitting sub-section (2) and substituting the following
        sub-section:

''(2) The Minister may approve an application under sub-section (1) subject to
such conditions as he determines, including the payment of a premium by the
applicant.''.

(2) An approval in force under section 6 of the Principal Act immediately
before the commencement of this section continues in force, after the
commencement of this section, as if it had been given under section 6 of the
Principal Act, as amended by this section.
