HEALTH INSURANCE COMMISSION (REFORM AND SEPARATION OF FUNCTIONS) ACT 1997 No. 159 of 1997 - SECT 6

(1) The Minister may, by writing, determine that a specified day is the
fund-transfer day for the purposes of this Part.

(2) The day must:

   (a)  be after the commencement of this section; and

   (b)  be a day when the nominated company is registered as a registered
        health benefits organisation under the National Health Act  1953 .

(3) The determination has effect accordingly.

(4) A copy of a determination under subsection (1) is to be published in the
Gazette within 14 days after the making of the determination.
