HOUSING LOANS INSURANCE CORPORATION (SALE OF ASSETS AND ABOLITION) ACT 1990 No. 16 of 1991 - SECT 25

25. (1) Tax under a law of the Commonwealth or a State or Territory is not
payable in relation to anything done (including a transaction entered into or
an instrument made, executed, lodged or given) that the Minister, by signed
instrument, certifies was a thing done for the purposes of this Act.

(2) Subject to subsection 23 (3), the Commonwealth is not liable for any
rates, taxes or charges in relation to residual assets.
