HUMAN RIGHTS AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION ACT 1986 No. 125 of 1986 - SECT 25

25. A person shall not give information or make a statement to the Commission,
or to a person acting on behalf of the Commission, knowing that the
information or statement is false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty:

   (a)  in the case of a natural person - $2,500 or imprisonment for 3 months,
        or both; or

   (b)  in the case of a body corporate - $10,000.
