HUMAN RIGHTS AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION ACT 1986 No. 125 of 1986 - SECT 28
Nature of settlements
28. The Commission shall, in endeavouring to effect a settlement of a matter
that gave rise to an inquiry, have regard to the need to ensure that any
settlement of the matter reflects a recognition of human rights and the need
to protect those rights.
