INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS REFORM ACT 1993 No. 98 of 1993 - SECT 54

Proceedings and orders under the Trade Practices Act
54. Despite the amendments of the Trade Practices Act 1974 made by this Part:

   (a)  any proceeding that was pending in relation to a matter that arose
        under section 45D or 45E of that Act immediately before the
        commencement of this Part may be continued as if those amendments had
        not been made; and

   (b)  any injunction granted by the Federal Court of Australia that was in
        force under section 80 of that Act immediately before the commencement
        of this Part in respect of conduct that constitutes or would
        constitute a contravention of a provision of section 45D or 45E of
        that Act may be varied or discharged by that Court at any time as if
        those amendments had not been made; and

   (c)  any order of the Federal Court of Australia that was in force under
        subsection 80AA(1) of that Act immediately before the commencement of
        this Part staying the operation of an injunction granted in respect of
        conduct that constitutes or would constitute a contravention of a
        provision of section 45D or 45E of that Act may be varied or rescinded
        by that Court at any time as if those amendments had not been made.
