LANDS ACQUISITION ACT 1989 No. 15 of 1989 - SECT 112

112. (1) Where:

   (a)  the Commonwealth is required to pay compensation to a person under
        this Part; and

   (b)  the total amount paid as advances exceeds the amount of the
        compensation; the person is liable to pay to the Commonwealth the
        amount of the excess.

(2) An amount due to the Commonwealth under subsection (1) may be recovered as
a debt due by action in a court of competent jurisdiction.
