LANDS ACQUISITION ACT 1989 No. 15 of 1989 - SECT 131

Award of costs in Administrative Appeals Tribunal proceedings
131. (1) The Administrative Appeals Tribunal may recommend to the
Attorney-General that the Commonwealth should pay the whole or a part of the
costs, in relation to proceedings on an application made to the Tribunal under
a provision of this Act, of the person who made the application or of any
other person made a party to the proceedings under subsection 30 (1A) of the
Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975.

(2) The Tribunal shall not make a recommendation under subsection (1) in
relation to the costs of a person who applied for review of a pre-acquisition
declaration if the application has been dismissed under section 32.

(3) The Attorney-General may, pursuant to a recommendation of the Tribunal
under subsection (1), authorise the payment to a person of the whole or a part
of the person's costs in relation to proceedings before the Tribunal.
