LAW AND JUSTICE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1989 No. 11 of 1990 - SECT 59

59. Section 90 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting from subsection (10) "(12), (13)" and substituting "(10A),
        (12), (13), (14)";

   (b)  by inserting in paragraph (10) (a) ", (7A)" after "(7)";

   (c)  by inserting after subsection (10) the following subsection:

"(10A) If, within the latest occurring 4 month period referred to in paragraph
(10) (b) in relation to an application for an authorisation, the Commission
gives to the applicant a written notice requesting the applicant to give to
the Commission additional information relevant to the determination of the
application, the reference in that paragraph to 4 months shall be taken to be
a reference to a period consisting of 4 months increased by the number of days
in the period commencing on the day on which the notice is given to the
applicant and ending on the day on which the applicant gives to the Commission
such of the additional information as the applicant is able to provide.";

   (d)  by omitting from subsection (14) "or (11), as the case may be,".
