Liquid Fuel Emergency Act 1984 No. 5 of 1984 - SECT 5

5. (1) This Act binds the Crown in right of the Commonwealth, of each of the
States, of the Northern Territory and of Norfolk Island, but nothing in this
Act renders the Crown liable to be prosecuted for an offence.

(2) A direction under this Act has no effect to the extent that, but for this
sub-section, it would prevent the exercise of powers, or the performance of
functions, of government of a State or of the Northern Territory.
