1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Financial Assistance) 
Amendment Act 1991 . (Minister's second reading speech made in-

Senate on 5 June 1991)
(2) In this Act, "Principal Act" means the Local Government (Financial
Assistance) Act 1986.*1*
