MARRIAGE AMENDMENT ACT 1976 No. 209, 1976 - SECT 2

2. (1) Sections 1, 2 and 30 shall come into operation on the day on which this
Act receives the Royal Assent.*1*

(2) Sections 14 and 31 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 July
1976.

(3) The remaining sections of this Act shall come into operation on a date to
be fixed by Proclamation.

(4) For the purposes of references in this Act to the commencement of this
Act, this Act shall be taken to have commenced on the date fixed under
sub-section (3).
