MIGRATION AMENDMENT ACT 1991 No. 86, 1991 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to this section, this Act commences on the day on which it
receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Subject to subsection (3), paragraphs 3 (a), (b) and (e), sections 5, 6
and 7, paragraphs 8 (e), (h) and (i), sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 20
and paragraph 23 (b) commence on a day or days to be fixed by Proclamation.

(3) If a provision does not commence under subsection (2) within the period of
6 months beginning on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, it
commences on the first day after the end of that period.
