(1)

The Secretary may, by writing, delegate all or any of his or her powers and functions under Part 4 to a person who:

(a) satisfies the criteria prescribed in the regulations; and
(b) is engaged by a recognised security organisation.

(2)

The Secretary may determine, in writing, that an organisation is a recognised security organisation .

(3)

In exercising powers or functions delegated under subsection (1), the delegate must comply with any directions of the Secretary.
