NAVIGATION AMENDMENT ACT 1980 No. 87, 1980 - SECT 6

6. Section 6E of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from sub-section (1) "sub-section (2)" and substituting

"this section"; and

   (b)  by inserting after sub-section (1) the following sub-section:



"(1A) For the purposes of this Act, the proper return port of a master or
seaman who has entered into a contract of sea service is the port specified in
the contract of sea service as the proper return port of the master or seaman,
as the case may be, or, if no port is so specified in the contract of sea
service, the port at which the master or seaman, as the case may be,
shipped.".
