NAVIGATION AMENDMENT ACT 1980 No. 87, 1980 - SECT 69

69. Section 187 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (3)
and substituting the following sub-section:



"(3) Provisions of this Act giving effect to the Safety Convention do not
apply in relation to a ship referred to in paragraph 2 (1) (a), (b), (c) or
(d) to the extent that a law of a State or of the Northern Territory makes
provision giving effect to the Safety Convention in relation to that ship.".
