NATIONAL HEALTH AMENDMENT ACT 1976 No. 60, 1976 - SECT 43

43. Notwithstanding the amendments made by sections 4 to 11 (inclusive) and
sections 14 to 17 (inclusive), the Principal Act continues to apply in
relation to-

   (a)  a professional service which was rendered before, or in respect of
        which medical expenses were incurred before, 1 July 1975;

   (b)  a medical service rendered outside Australia before 1 July 1975;

   (c)  hospital treatment received by a qualified hospital patient in
        Australia before1 April 1976; or

   (d)  hospital treatment received by a patient in a hospital outside
        Australia before 1 April 1976.
