NATIONAL TRANSPORT COMMISSION ACT 2003 No. 81, 2003 - SECT 7

Regulations setting out model legislation and road transport legislation
(1)
The regulations may set out model legislation and road transport legislation.

(2)
Any model legislation or road transport legislation set out in regulations made for the purposes of this section:

(a) does not have the force of law; and
(b) may make provision for or in relation to a matter by applying, adopting or incorporating (with or without modification) any matter contained in an instrument or other writing as in force or existing at a particular time or as in force or existing from time to time.

Paragraph (2)(b) does not limit what may, under section 49A of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 , be included in model legislation or road transport legislation set out in regulations made for the purposes of this section.

(4)
Subsections 48(3) to (7) and sections 48A to 49 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 do not apply to regulations made for the purposes of this section.
