OFFICE OF NATIONAL ASSESSMENTS ACT 1977 No. 107, 1977 - SECT 15

Termination of appointment
15. (1) The Governor-General may terminate the appointment of the
Director-General for physical or mental incapacity.

(2) If the Director-General-

   (a)  is absent from duty, except with the leave of the Minister, for 14
        consecutive days or for 28 days in any 12 months;

   (b)  is guilty of misbehaviour; or

   (c)  becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the
        relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his creditors
        or makes an assignment of his remuneration for their benefit, the
        Governor-General shall terminate his appointment.
