PRIVACY ACT 1988 No. 119, 1988 - SECT 101

101. (1) The Acts specified in Schedule 1 are amended as set out in Schedule
1.

(2) Section 27A of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 as amended by this Act
applies in relation to:

   (a)  a request that is received after the commencement of this Act; and

   (b)  a request that was received before that commencement if a decision to
        grant access under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 to the document
        to which the request related had not been made before that
        commencement by the officer or Minister dealing with the request or a
        person reviewing, under section 54 of that Act, a decision refusing to
        grant that access.
