PIPELINE AUTHORITY AMENDMENT ACT 1992 No. 188, 1992 - SECT 4

4. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by inserting in subsection (1) the following definition:

"'subsidiary company' means a company that is a subsidiary of the Authority;";

   (b)  by adding at the end the following subsection:

"(4) For the purposes of this Act, the question whether a company is a
subsidiary of the Authority is to be determined in the same manner as the
question whether a corporation is a subsidiary of another corporation is
determined for the purposes of the Corporations Law.".
