PRAWN EXPORT PROMOTION ACT 1995 No. 14, 1995 - SECT 5

5.(1) In addition to the functions conferred on FRDC by or under the Research
and Development Act, FRDC has the function of providing funds for approved
prawn export promotion activities.

(2) An activity is an approved prawn export promotion activity if:

   (a)  it relates to the promotion of the export of sea-caught prawns, parts
        of sea-caught prawns or sea-caught prawn products; and

   (b)  it is consistent with FRDC's R&D plan; and

   (c)  it has been approved by the prescribed industry organisation.
