PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE INCENTIVES ACT 1998 No. 121, 1998 - SECT 15.20
Notifying health funds if amount is not payable
(1) The HIC must notify a * health fund if it decides that an amount is not
payable in respect of an * appropriate private health insurance policy
included in a claim under section 15-10.
(2) A notice under subsection (1) must include reasons for the decision.
(3) The HIC is taken, for the purposes of this Act, to have decided that the
amount is payable if the HIC does not give notice of its decision that the
amount is not payable on or before the day under subsection 15-15(2) on or
before which, if it had been payable, it would have been required to have been
paid.
