PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE INCENTIVES ACT 1998 No. 121, 1998 - SECT 19.25
False or misleading information
A person is guilty of an offence if the person gives to the HIC or to a *
health fund under this Act any information that the person knows to be false
or misleading in a material particular.
Maximum penalty: Imprisonment for 12
months.
Note: Chapter 2 of the Criminal Code sets out the general principles
of criminal responsibility.
