(1)

This section has effect for the purposes of applying a law or an award to the employment by the successor body of a transferring employee.

(2)

The service of the transferring employee as an employee of the successor body is taken, for all purposes, to be continuous with his or her service as an employee of a statutory authority.

(3)

At the transfer time, the transferring employee is taken to have accrued an entitlement to Long Service Leave Act benefits, recreation leave benefits and sickness leave benefits, in connection with his or her employment by the successor body, that is equivalent to the entitlement that the employee had as an employee of the statutory authority immediately before the transfer time.

(4)

At the transfer time, the transferring employee is taken to have an entitlement to recognition by the successor body of years of service, in connection with his or her employment by the successor body, that is equivalent to the entitlement that the employee had as an employee of the statutory authority immediately before the transfer time.
