(1)

This section applies to a transferring employee if, immediately before the transfer time, the employee was a person to whom deferred benefits were applicable under section 78 of the DFRDB Act.

(2)

For the purposes of Division 3 of Part IX of the DFRDB Act, the employee is taken to continue in public employment after the transfer time while the employee continues to be employed by the industry services body.

This section is subject to Division 3 of Part IX of the DFRDB Act.
