PRIMARY INDUSTRIES AND ENERGY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 3) 1989 No. 16, 1990 - SECT 7

7. Section 37 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection
(1) the following subsections:

"(1A) One of the persons so employed is to be employed as the Executive
Director of the Research Council.

"(1B) A person must not be employed as the Executive Director unless the
person has been selected for that employment by the Managing Director and the
Council Chairperson jointly.

"(1C) A person's employment as the Executive Director ends, if it has not
already done so, when the person reaches 65.".
