PETROLEUM (SUBMERGED LANDS - MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) ACT 1981 No. 79, 1981 - SECT 16

16. Section 8 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) "The courts" and substituting "Subject to
sub-section (3), the courts"; and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:



"(3) Sub-section (1) does not confer jurisdiction on the courts of Norfolk
Island in relation to matters arising under or by virtue of the provisions of
the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1967.".
