PROTECTION OF THE SEA (SHIPPING LEVY) AMENDMENT ACT 1984 No. 17, 1984 - SECT 3

3. Section 8 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by omitting ''of which exceeds 100 tons'' and substituting ''length of
which is not less than 24 metres''; and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:

''(2) The tonnage length of a ship shall be determined, for the purposes of
sub-section (1), in the same manner as it is determined for the purposes of
the Shipping Registration Act 1981.''.
