PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES ACT 1976 No. 87, 1976 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to sub-section (2), this Act shall come into operation on the
day on which it receives the Royal Assent.*1*

(2) Section 9 shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation,
being a date not earlier than the date on which the Convention enters into
force for Australia.
