PREFERENCE TO AUSTRALIAN GOODS (COMMONWEALTH AUTHORITIES) ACT 1980 No. 113, 1980 - SECT 15

15. Except with the approval of the Minister, a Commonwealth authority shall
not-

   (a)  form, or participate with another person in the formation of, a
        company; or

   (b)  acquire a controlling interest in a company, with the object (whether
        the principal object or a subsidiary object) of empower- ing the
        company to engage in the procurement, or in any step in the
        procurement, of goods for the authority.
