RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1983 No. 130, 1983 - SECT 29
Cancellation of transmitter licences
29. (1) The Minister may, in his discretion, by notice in writing served on
the holder of a transmitter licence, cancel the licence.
(2) A notice under sub-section (1) cancelling a licence shall set out the
findings on material questions of fact, refer to the evidence or other
material on which those findings were based and give the reasons for
cancelling the licence.
(3) The Minister, in exercising his powers under sub-section (1) to cancel a
licence, shall have regard to all matters that he considers relevant,
including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following
matters:
(a) any matter to which he may have regard in exercising his powers under
sub-section 24 (1);
(b) whether or not a person has been convicted of an offence against
section 26, 27, 30 or 81 in relation to the licence.
