REMUNERATION AND ALLOWANCES AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 166, 1978 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to this section, this Act shall come into operation on the day
on which it receives the Royal Assent.*1*

(2) The amendments made by sections 3 and 5 shall be deemed to have taken
effect on 1 July 1978 and the amendments made by section 4 shall be deemed to
have taken effect on 1 January 1974.
