ROADS GRANTS ACT 1980 No. 106, 1980 - SECT 11

Approval of programs
11. (1) The Minister may notify a State of the date before which a program of
projects proposed to be undertaken by the State during the year to which
this Act applies, being projects of a kind specified in the notification, is
to be submitted to him for approval.

(2) The Minister, after consultation with the appropriate Minister of a State,
may approve programs of projects proposed to be undertaken by the State during
the year to which this Act applies.

(3) A State may propose to the Minister-

   (a)  a variation of;

   (b)  a revocation of; or

   (c)  a revocation of, and the substitution of a new program for, a program
        of projects approved by the Minister under sub-section (2), but the
        variation, revocation or revocation and substitution does not take
        effect for the purposes of this Part until it has been approved by the
        Minister.

(4) Where a variation or substitution is approved under sub-section (3), the
program as varied or the substituted program shall be deemed to be a program
of projects approved by the Minister under sub-section (2).
