REFERENDUM (MACHINERY PROVISIONS) ACT 1984 No. 44, 1984 - SECT 69

69. A person to whom an application for a postal vote certificate and postal
ballot-paper for a referendum or an envelope containing or purporting to
contain a postal ballot-paper for a referendum is entrusted by a voter for the
purpose of posting or delivery to a Divisional Returning Officer or an
Assistant Returning Officer or delivery to a presiding officer, and who fails
to post or deliver the application or envelope as soon as practicable after it
is entrusted to him is guilty of an offence.

Penalty: $1,000.
