SUPERANNUATION ACT 1976 No. 31, 1976 - SECT 15

Invalidity pensioners returning to employment otherwise than as permanent employees.
15. (1) Where-

   (a)  a person to whom invalidity pension is payable becomes a temporary
        employee or the holder of a statutory office; and

   (b)  the Commissioner is satisfied that the health of the person has become
        so restored as to enable him to perform duties of a kind that are, in
        the opinion of the Commissioner, suitable to be performed by him,
        having regard to the duties performed by him immediately before he
        ceased to be an eligible employee by reason of his retirement on the
        ground of invalidity, the Commissioner may direct that the person is,
        as from the date of the direction, or shall be deemed to have been as
        from such earlier date as is specified in the direction (not being a
        date earlier than the date on which he became a temporary employee or
        the holder of the statutory office), an eligible employee for the
        purposes of this Act.

(2) Except in accordance with principles approved by the Treasurer, the
Commissioner shall not give a direction under sub-section (1) in respect of
the holder of a statutory office to which the holder has been appointed
otherwise than on a full-time basis.
