SUPERANNUATION ACT 1976 No. 31, 1976 - SECT 89

Entitlement to spouse's benefit under Division.
89. (1) Where an eligible employee who dies on or after attaining his
maximum retiring age is survived by a spouse, the spouse is entitled to-

   (a)  spouse's standard pension in accordance with section 90;

   (b)  subject to sub-section 92 (2), spouse's additional pension in
        accordance with sub-section 91 (1); and

   (c)  lump sum benefit (if any) in accordance with sub-section 91 (2).

(2) Sub-section (1) does not apply to the spouse of a deceased eligible
employee whose period of contributory service is less than 1 year.
