STATES (WORKS AND HOUSING) ASSISTANCE ACT 1984 No. 161, 1984 - SECT 11

11. The Treasurer shall not authorize the making of a loan to the Northern
Territory under sub-section 10 (1) unless satisfied that the Northern
Territory will comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement entered
into between the Commonwealth and the Northern Territory pursuant to the
Housing Assistance Act 1984 that relate to the provision of matching funds by
the Northern Territory during the relevant year, and, in addition to the terms
and conditions referred to in sub-section 10 (2), a loan to the Northern
Territory under sub-section 10 (1) is subject to the condition that the
Northern Territory will comply with the first-mentioned terms and conditions.
