STATES GRANTS (TERTIARY EDUCATION ASSISTANCE) ACT 1978 No. 188, 1978 - SECT 13

13. (1) The Commission may-

   (a)  approve courses of study and proposed courses of study in respect of a
        college of advanced education as approved courses of advanced
        education for the purposes of this Act;

   (b)  approve programs of continuing education in respect of a college of
        advanced education as approved courses of advanced education for the
        purposes of this Act; and

   (c)  approve courses of study in respect of a technical and further
        education institution as approved courses of advanced education for
        the purposes of this Act, and may revoke or vary any such approval.

(2) The Commission shall not, under paragraph (1) (c), approve a course of
study in respect of a technical and further education institution as an
approved course of advanced education for the purposes of this Act unless the
Commission is of the opinion that it would approve the course under paragraph
(1) (a) were the course to be provided at a college of advanced education.
