SUPERANNUATION LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1986 No. 151, 1986 - SECT 7

7. Section 13 of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from sub-section (1) ", as from the date of the
        direction,"; and

   (b)  by adding at the end the following sub-section:

"(2) A direction under sub-section (1) in relation to a person who is employed
under a contract has effect from-

   (a)  where the person has been employed under that contract for longer than
        one year-the day of the direction; or

   (b)  in any other case-the day specified in the direction, which may be a
        day earlier than the day on which the direction is given but not
        earlier than the day on which the person commenced to be employed
        under that contract.".
